there are probably only 3 types of software an ai native company should buy:

1. your agent/model provider (anthropic, openai, gemini, etc)

2. software that connects agents to your internal systems/ops safely (mcps, glean, etc. ideally provided directly from those internal systems)

3. software that connects humans to agents (whisperflow, cowork, diy slackbot, etc)

anything else should be intentionally legacy
