Steve's goal is to entertain his audience with his alt-celerity status, NOT to wake anyone up to any real scientific method. Otherwise he would take the $1 million dollars, rent/buy some 4k camcorders, and use a microscope to place vaccine vial contents on a slide and view it. (record with separate microscope camera what you are looking at. And do all of this on camera).
