my friend & i were chatting about how to generate good ideas & realized most ppl don’t really think in systems. this is often the best way to think of & evaluate ideas.
systems thinking requires some small mechanical elements but it’s pretty easy if you practice, & super useful too. it’s how you find leverage for big ideas. one simple strategy is to just flip one bit in a large scale system & see what it could potentially require/unlock.
