Visited Vallotton Forever at the Musée Cantonal in Lausanne, a good way to start 2026.

This autumn, I worked on exhibition proposals for the Art Nouveau Centre of Norway in Ålesund. I did not know Felix Vallotton beforehand, but became intrigued and included him in the project.

I am particularly drawn to his works from around the fin de siècle. His palette from this period is remarkable.

He achieves a balance between hardness/softness/masculine/femininie, and at times there is a touch of something almost.. glittering in his execution.
