I am not entirely sure how it happened but we rented Avatar: The Way of water tonight.

The visuals were truly amazing but the film was less than shit.

The first Avatar was innovative with a good, interesting story. This sequel is an American ‘shoot ‘em up’ movie of the worst type.

James Cameron seems to be much more interested in the CGI—which is breathtaking—than the plot or performances.
