Sometimes I fantasize about disappearing.

Not dying.

Just logging off.

Getting a job no one cares about.

Growing tomatoes.

Writing poems in the margins of a notebook no one reads.

Not as a failure.

But as a kind of freedom.

i love it when a woman slowly steps out of survival mode and starts to fall in love with life again. when her zest for life comes back and when she starts to notice all the magic and blessings around her, it’s the most beautiful thing to witness.

Thank you. Mexico, for standing up for truth snd integrity. We here in America wish many of our corporate leaders could find the decency and courage to do the same.

Mexico has officially banned the Trump propaganda from airing on Mexican TV and social media. No racist ads, and no lies disguised as messages to the world.

Best mental reset I’ve learned:

If your mind is loud — Write.

If your mind is empty — Read.

If your mind is racing — Walk.

If your mind is tired — Sleep.

If your mind is sharp — Build.

Most problems are just mismatched energy. Get the inputs right, the rest follows.

Yesterday was full of surprises.

We went to the gym pretty early for us and I have to say the workout was brutal. I pulled my back a couple of months ago and since then have stayed off the weights replacing them with cardio based torture machines.

15 minutes cross trainer on random full shred; 20 minutes on the stair machine (the devil himself created this device); three two minute planks—the longest two minutes you ever experience—finished off with 30 minutes on the walking machine at full incline.

I sweat a lot at the best of times but it’s unseasonably hot and I looked like I had just come out of the shower when the session finished.

and I had some planning to do for our next project and couldn’t resist doing it at our local bar.

We retuned home,

turned up and played us a new song he wants to record—which was great.

A couple of hours cleaning and packing guitars was undertaken before making our way to Lisboa for a pre gig dinner at the New Himalaia Nepalese restaurant the off to see Kim Gordon at the beautifully restored Cineteatro Capitólio. I will be writing a review but Starlite made a brief comment on her ‘notes’.

The journey in was horrible as it was rush hour and Waze—our preferred satnav app—took us a tortuous route through the back streets of Lisboa.

Our only vehicle is the Van Of Rock which is a 6m long Volkswagen Crafter and it was hairy to say the least.

Anyway following a most enjoyable, albeit challenging gig, we returned home safe to be greeted by our four hounds.

That’s it… Big day today and will update to in the morning.

Remind me not to wear my vinyl dress again to a gig! It felt like I was one of those boil-in-the-bag meals!!

Besides the discomfort - Kim Gordon was ace! The sonic landscapes were huge and the band was great - really tight!!

Ha! Also there was added adventure when

had to navigate the most ridiculous route up the narrowest of cobbled stre…
