Trust, but...

Theology has its place. A good-hearted theologian is interesting to talk with.

But do you realize that a huge chunk of the 1000 theologians arguing on any single topic are wrong?

Has to be. How do you know which? Read the Bible for yourself, of course.

President Reagan had a saying, "Trust, but verify." This works quite well with Christian teachers!
