There are a lot of species that have never been seen copulating. One of them was the humpback whale. Until now.

Oh, and both participants were male.

Such behavior shouldn’t be surprising. Dolphins and orcas are well known to engage in homosexual behavior. Same with flamingoes. And giraffes. And lions. And bonobos. And bison. And many others.

The thing is, both those males have likely also engaged in sex with females. Same sex is normal sex.
