There’s something uniquely pleasurable about rereading a book you know you love. It’s like sinking, carefree, into a warm bath, one that you know will stay at the perfect temperature for as long as you want it to.

This Christmas, despite a TBR pile that’s taken over the entire house, I’ve reread Oryx and Crake, and The Folding Star. No regrets.
