This developmental change makes sense. As women raising young children, we need the kindness and involvement of others to be successful. Therefore we put up with some bad behavior to access those additional resources. Once that phase is done, we have more of a legacy role to advance the social good. Moving society forward requires no longer accepting poor behavior and holding everyone to a higher standard. That’s where I live now
