One of the things I like about stitching is the diversity of techniques available. This is an example of my Tapestry stitching. Often confused with Cross Stitch.

It is the technique I mostly used on the jacket in my 1st post & was my mother's favourite style of work.

This pieces combines celtic knotwork patterns found in medieval manuscripts such as the Book of Kells, Lindesfarne & Durrow.
