People often ask if I managed to pass on my “stitching” to my children. I am a 5th generation stitcher myself. I am always pleased to say they are all very creative.
However, the legacy I am most pleased to say I passed on is that they all have a passion for books & reading.
Mair, my eldest, used to consume 5 or 6 a week! As a parent I think passing on the love of reading is the greatest gift we can bestow.
Here, I tried to stitch the design for Mair's blanket like the cover of an Irish magical medieval manuscript & she said it made her feel like a queen 😊
