I’ve said before, FALL and WINTER is the time for action. FALL of an Empire and a Cold, Cold Winter inside a jail cell for the usual suspects. Riots are more tame in the cold, and the big corporations rely on peace rather than chaos to break even during the holidays. School is closed for Fall Break and Christmas. It’s the best time to round people up, hedging on snow to ruin any attempt to Burn Loot and Murder. Starting Nov 1st, when SNAP and EBT services shutter due to the Government Shutdown, I’d expect kinetic action in the streets.
