The app for independent voices

This morning I noticed that the more I knit my own clothes, the less I feel the urge to consume and buy other stuff as well. Capitalism lives on creating fake scarcity, but that‘s not how knitting works. The patterns I want to knit and the yarn I want to use wait patiently for me. Whether I will get around to them in 4 months or a year, they will be there. And this is slowly rewiring how I think about other stuff as well. Even if something sells out, there are so many other things to buy instead.
