sometimes i wonder how many versions of myself i’ve outgrown without even noticing. i look back at old photos and remember the thoughts i used to carry, the dreams i thought would save me. it’s strange how you can live inside yourself every day and still not realize you’re evolving. it’s only when you look back that you realize how far you’ve come, how many lives you’ve already lived in the same skin.

Be bored more often.

I never met my great-great grandfather George (Doc) Robertson who was a sawbones in the Confederate Army in Mississippi, but my grandmother told me stories about him. As Gary said, when a person who is not subscribed to LFAA 'likes' a post, their name shows up as 'Someone'. If you have five "Someone's" liking your post, they are five different people who have not subscribed yet.
This is a Substack thing, not unique to LFAA.
