As someone not raised with conservatism or Christianity, when God saved me at the end my 20’s, and I joined the church, I was disheartened at how often it was close to indistinguishable from the world: the opposite of how we as Christians are called to be! Romans 12:2. (And not to say I haven’t been guilty of this as well!)

I just think in general, we’ve let the cop out of “seeker sensitivity” be a mask for not putting the effort in to be unlike the world.
