If you would reread my comment, you would "comprehend" that I'm adding to your argument, not denying it. But you can't have a discussion with someone who just wants to argue at any price. Your original thesis seemed to be that America has never been perfect, therefore there is nothing about our country that merits preservation. That's a much over-used rhetorical device that is as vile as it is false.
