I don’t know exactly what happened, but somewhere between 38 and 40, my body went from a diesel engine to a 2003 Honda Civic with 200,000 miles on it. Technically still running, but I’ve gotta be thoughtful about inputs, check the fluids, don’t push it on the highway, treat it with some basic respect. The decay is real, and it is humbling.
