I think generative AI should be used to save time by making it do boring, repetitive stuff. When I once used Stack Overflow, now I mostly use an LLM, be it remote or local. It’s really useful to avoid skimming the docs, but you must be really precise to avoid hallucinations.

When I use it for standard writing I feel it exhibits the same patterns every time and I don’t like it, so I practically ignore it. Maybe I need to get better at prompting?
