Gartner just brought back the Magic Quadrant for Master Data Management — the first one in four years, after retiring it in 2022.
It's a well-researched report. 20 vendors. Rigorous criteria. Worth reading.
But there are two things missing from the evaluation that I think matter a lot for where the market is actually heading: open source and warehouse-native MDM.
