The app for independent voices

Creators, I learned this the hard way: You’ll never be the exact person everyone on the internet needs you to be.

Your beliefs will inevitably vary, your priorities and opinions and political and personal beliefs will be different, at least in some ways.

But the choice in how much you reveal—and how much said beliefs constitute your platform—is up to YOU.

If there’s anything I learned from working in news, it’s that keeping my opinions to myself makes for a quieter, more peaceful Internet Experience. But it’s also tied to slower growth, because nuance and objectivity ain’t sexy. (And people shouting at their front-facing camera telling you how to think are.)

I wonder if any other creators face the daily question of, how much do you share? In this world where everyone is ready to start a fight if they smell even a hint of disagreement, what’s your red line when it comes to sharing personal thoughts or beliefs?
