Make money doing the work you believe in

Therapeutic foods of my week ~~~

  1. Fish broth - I’ve been feeling fatigue big time and leaning on fish broths to benefit from all the incredible nutrients, essential minerals and amino acids for collagen production. The version I make is full of beautiful aromatics like ginger, star anise and black peppercorns, strains to be a lovely mellow yellow colour and tastes delicious on its own, not fishy.

  2. Dragon Herbs Spring Dragon Tea. I continually repurchase this tea which contains gynostemma, an adaptogenic plant that has ‘double direction’ function in the body, meaning that it calms the body when stressed, and lifts it when fatigued. Incredible stuff and supportive to long term vitality - love!

  3. Honey - on its own straight from the jar, with warmed milk and spices or spread onto sourdough. 309 Honey, an incredible family-run business here in New Zealand, sent me some 850+ MGO rated Manuka honey this week which an incredibly high grade. Their product comes straight off of their coastal Coromandel land into the jar.

  4. Crunchy probiotic salad (recipe in Substack) with umeboshi vinegar.

  5. New season Beauregard kumara (sweet potato) baked whole as always.

  6. Many different versions of green soups to easily get plant nutrients in while adapting to cool Autumn weather where I live.

  7. Baked soy sauce tofu rice bowls with shiitake mushroms, black and white sesame seeds and coriander. When I make tofu like this it actually tastes good and my children actually eat it which always makes me feel triumphant.

I hope you all have some small wins out there this week.
