Because if you’ve ever been around stressed or traumatized dogs, you know how quickly things can go wrong.
But Annie explained that she learned to listen when dogs whisper, not only when they “scream”.
She notices the tiniest changes in body language, the subtle signs most people miss.
That’s how she’s kept herself safe. That’s how she’s kept those dogs safe.
“It’s not if your dog will be rushed by an off-leash dog. It’s when. And if you’re not prepared, panic takes over,”she says often.
What to do in those moments is the first thing she teaches new clients.
