Hiiii, sorry for the radio silence for a while!

Let’s catch up on what’s happened while I’ve been gone…

• GianPiero Lambiase is confirmed to be leaving Red Bull and moving to McLaren for 2028 as Chief Racing Officer reporting to Andrea Stella who will remain TP

• Formula 2 is replacing their cancelled Bahrain and Jeddah races with new races in Miami and Montreal (creating an Indy 500 clash for Colton Herta)

• F1 Academy will be introducing a third race - the “Opening Race” - in Montreal and Austin to replace their cancelled races in Jeddah. The grid for this race will be set by the drivers second fastest lap times making qualifying even more competitive.

• The FIA will be hosting meetings in the coming weeks to discuss possible adjustments to the 2026 regs to address the safety issues that have cropped up in the first few races.
