Sending detailed information about an upcoming military strike on unclassified channels (and even to the wrong guy) is wrong, reckless, and obviously a threat to American troops.
The thing is, how the reporter got in is the least problematic part of this. It's distraction because they want us to lose the thread of their intentionally breaching national security and violating the law by discussing war plans via text.
