OpenClaw acts as a routing brain on top of all the models Koka uses (OpenAI, Claude, and Gemini). He can flip between providers as credits run out, or run several in parallel.

Koka had OpenClaw rewrite its own code to add a manual-throttle module. Now the agent decides which model is the cheapest and most capable and will switch when he tells it to. For example, โ30-row CRM analysisโ vs. โwrite 20 outbound emailsโ required different models with different complexities, and thus different costs.

On setup, he fed OpenClaw a folder with his Myers-Briggs report, LinkedIn resume, and other personal docs. The agent distilled that into a personality profile (aka โthe soulโ) so that every subsequent task reflects his tone, preferences, and guardrails.

The agent is surfaced as a bot he named Lola. Koka mostly chats through the web UI, but the same bot can live in Discord, Telegram or Slack without extra work.

During initialization, OpenClaw learned the schemas for his Airtable CRM and ClickUp projects. A single โget up to speed on the CRMโ command syncs all entities so Lola always knows record counts, field names, and current priorities.
Now, he has a personal AI to work for him 24/7.
After ingesting the soul file, Lola immediately started acting as Kokaโs chief of staff, handling follow-ups, drafting emails, and executing background tasks.
But again, it only sends messages externally when Koka gives explicit approval.
