yes, it's all semantics. they don't overproduce because small manufacturers are actually making the product for them, using trend algorithms that Shein is providing. But, multiple manufacturers can offer up a price and sell the same thing, competing against themselves, hence why they are not actually overproducing, and it's technically small batch. The hand that Shein plays in it all is producing the demand and price competitiveness for manufacturers everywhere. It's a race to the bottom for all involved!
