We are now on the slippery slope so many of us have warned about for years… when morality goes out the window and all we are left with is people drunk on power. But my biggest concern is not so much with the attack from MAGA. It is the Lack of a strong response from those Democrats I would’ve thought had the backbone and creative thinking ability to see where all this is headed and respond appropriately. Here is a link to additional reporting on the ARMED ASSAULT on the US Institute of Peace, in which a Democratic congressman is interviewed after he himself was forbidden from entering the US Institute of Peace. Notice how calm he is in his demeanor. This is not good. I will publish another essay in my “wiser way forward“ Substack soon to address this crisis in response. I’ve been delayed by some personal things I’ve had to deal with, but will publish it soon.
