To Heather Cox Richardson’s report on there is a shift in how Trump is being treated (giving her hope), I’ll add the following…

One thing that has shifted in my experience… I follow the work of psychiatrist Bandy X. Lee (author of the best selling 2017 book “The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump”). And in an emergency zoom meeting she had with her paid subscribers last night (Friday night), she told us that members of the House and Senate are in touch with her about the danger Trump is to the nation and the world. While she said she had to wait for them to do something public in relation to treating Trump like the mentally ill person that he is before naming them, I was gratified to learn that - despite her being blacklisted from media appearances by the American psychiatric Association - she IS BEING LISTENED TO… and not a moment too soon. Trump must be treated as the mentally ill threat to the nation that he is… Something I am extremely familiar with because my father suffered from the same mental illness Trump has and reacted violently when his authority was threatened, including attempting to kill my mother twice. America must allow the psychiatric profession to help “we the people” deal with this threat. Right now, America is like an abused wife married to a violently abusive husband. Only psychiatric counseling can give us the tools needed to break free of this threat and to then contain the threat so that it does not harm others.
