The Daily Express claimed on Friday that the comedy 1941 (1979) is "a Steven Spielberg film you've probably never heard of". Seriously? That tells me more about the journalists working on that rag than the movie's admittedly low profile when compared to its nearest neighbours in Spielberg's canon, Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977) and Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981).
