No, I don't think so at all. I've written a few times about how "the algorithm" is subjugating our minds. I already had that sense before I started writing seriously, but it's absolutely shocking how easy it is to be trapped in a bubble of partial information without ever realising it. Especially when it's about contentious issues like race or trans people.

This is why it's becoming so controversial to tell simple truths. The algorithm has become so powerful at siloing people off into separate realities, that people are absolutely certain of things, to the point where they'll condemn you as evil for contradicting them, that are totally untrue.
