Great comparison, I've owned both brands and never even considered them together, much less their names. I bought two pairs of Allbirds - their bland, 'entry-level', as pictured, and then opted for their higher-priced "running" shoes. Each pair wore out way too quickly - the materials/construction just didn't hold up to daily wear. After walking the Camino de Santiago in Spain two years ago I came back with ache-ful feet and Hoka was one of the brand recommended by my podiatrist. They held up fine until the soles wore through and I threw them out last month. Nice story idea, Nancy.
