Nobody ever mentions that the Emirates has supposedly got a curse on it. The story goes that two Sp*rs fans were working on the foundations of the new stadium and buried two Sp*rs shirts for bad luck. I don’t know if it’s true because there is a similar story about St Mary’s concerning Pompey fans. But if it is true, it’s certainly kicked in the last three seasons.
