Question: I signed up to play competitive cornhole in an LGBTQ-sponsored tournament that used to be for women but is now billed as “Women+” — meaning “women, both trans and cis, nonbinary folks, and those that live on the spectrum of the feminine spirit.” In other words, coed. I’m okay with openly coed recreational sports. I know what I’m getting into. I think.

But how do I answer the pronoun question? As in, “I go by they/them, what are your pronouns?” I don’t want to be rude to other athletes, many of whom live in a different culture, with different norms. But nor do I want to answer, “she/her,” because it implies agreement with trans ideology. Suggestions?
