my first novel is out today. it’s about a girl named alison who makes an impulsive decision on her 23rd birthday to move from her small town in georgia to new york. when she gets there, she finds a job as a restaurant hostess, a tiny apartment, a work crush, and the ghost of her sister who died when they were teenagers. it’s tender and strange and sad and, i hope, a little funny, in the way loneliness and grief can be. i am SO nervous but mostly really happy that it’s out in the world today. i really hope you like it!
