I think riso is a very interesting way to make animation because it takes way longer than normal animation. Today, a lot of the processes in art are focused on being quick and efficiently, but printing methods take all that away. The focus is a lot more on the process that way, and allows to make happy little mistakes. I think nowadays things like that, and the focus on making something handmade, is very important. We need to be more mindful during our creation process, and not focus on result first.
