Make money doing the work you believe in

I’m not sure if I want to share this on social media where I have people who actually know me personally, colleagues and such, but today I sent the first CV of my life to a company organizing museum tours for children and school trips, which is looking for "students from the Department of History and Archaeology." Probably for completely support roles, but I don’t care at all.

And it seems like perfect timing, a sign from above for those who believe in such things, even if they don’t hire me, since just a week ago I started a 9-month seminar on Museum Education. Meanwhile, tomorrow an article of mine on the Greek language and chairs of Modern Greek studies abroad will be published in the newspaper Estia, while two weeks earlier I enrolled in a 6-month course on "Cultural Journalism."

Even though I started all this purely as a hobby, this is the first time I’m beginning to believe it could evolve into a "day job."

I’m really excited to see what the future holds for me.
