On Saturday, March 21, World Poetry Day, in the courtyard of the Acropolis Museum, students from the University of Athens, under the direction of my professor Mr. Vertoudakis, will recite Homer's Odyssey (in the translation by D. N. Maronitis).
Personalities from the broader world of letters (poets, writers, translators) will also symbolically participate in the recitation.
The event is organized by the Acropolis Museum and the Third Programme of Greek Radio, which will broadcast the recitation live—with its producers on site—from 9:00 a.m. until around 7:00 p.m. (Athens time-GMT+2)
