Fertiliser costs are unlikely to go down. So, now would be a good time for farmers to go organic with government help, gardeners to go organic and shoppers to buy organic, while the price differential is not so great. This could turn the tide, though expect fertiliser suppliers to hit back with misinformation.
It's also a good time to switch to EVs for businesses and individuals alike - again, with government help.
