Imagine if we simulated humanity’s trajectory a hundred times, it is interesting to ask if in each run, we’d end up in a world where burning coal, oil and gas is the norm. I’d like to think that there are at least some runs where humanity marches forward into an electric future underpinned by wind, sunshine and batteries from the get go.
