A Black farmer in Colorado named CW—he runs Freedom Acres Ranch—posted an update that was so raw, so honest. The exhaustion in his voice couldn't be ignored. He talked about a kind of tired that sleep can't fix—the kind that settles deep in your soul after months of fighting battles you never asked for.
He's dealt with drought, inflation, livestock theft, a drive-by shooting, camera jamming, false arrests, mounting legal bills, stalking, harassment, and racist neighbors who seem determined to run him off his own land.
He said he's felt like a failure. Like he's let down his family, his animals, his supporters. He's questioned whether he has anything left to give.
But then he said something that gave me hope: the community showed up. Over a million people visited his website. People donated. Sponsored animals. Booked cabins. Volunteered. Sent messages of encouragement.
And that's what I'm asking us to do today.
This man is out there trying to grow food, raise animals, and build something good—and he's under attack for it. Not because he did anything wrong, but because some people can't stand to see a Black man succeed on his own land.
So if you have a few dollars, visit his website. Book a stay. Sponsor an animal. Or just share his story so more people know he exists and what he's up against.
He's not asking for pity… he's asking for support. And we can give him that.

Let's show him he's not alone. Because when community shows up, hope shows up. And right now, that man needs to know we see him.
