Where Light Falls

There are places that ask to be photographed.

Then there are places that ask you to be still.

Standing beneath this waterfall, I stopped thinking about shutter speeds, composition, and camera settings. I simply watched as shafts of light slipped through the canyon, turning ordinary water into something that felt almost sacred.

Sometimes nature reminds us that beauty doesn’t need to shout. It arrives quietly, falls gently, and asks only that we’re present enough to notice.

As photographers, we spend so much time chasing light.

The real gift is learning to recognize where it falls.
