Do not use AI to "edit"! Do not use it to "brainstorm" or "outline" or “copy edit” or "research" or any other thing.

LLMs are not intelligent, they don't know anything, they are just fancy predictive text. They are not evaluating your essay or your post. I don’t mean that they are evaluating it but that a machine isn’t the same as a person, blah blah blah. I mean that they are not actually evaluating your work at all, they are merely spitting out a plausible reply. Don’t be taken in.

These machines lie. Ask it if it can do X, and it will say “yes of course, right away,” then fail to do it every time, all the while apologizing and saying it will do it next time. These companies and their product are fraudulent. Don't be a chump.
