My daughter, who is proudly autistic, creates these characters often based on elements or zodiac signs. She assigns lore to them, embodies them, becomes them. With her blessing, I’m sharing some of these creations.

To push back on the harmful narrative of autism as something to be avoided, I am posting some of the amazing ways her mind works.

I also recognize that autism is a complete spectrum with widely varying abilities, and don’t deny that living with autism in a neurotypical world is extremely challenging.
