Don’t believe those critics describing last night as “clunky.” The Pitt” last night was GREAT. So many stunning moments. I mean that literally. Not that anything momentous happened. Just the human condition, given to us in all its stunning reality. And the secret, which all the writers, directors, and actors have said in interviews: Yes, in the series there are gruesome things happening to bodies, all the terrible shocks the flesh is heir to. But the characters are the thing. They are so….real. What other show is that true of?
