I just rediscovered Trevor Aleo’s piece from last summer (yes, citing my own work). After this year of ANTI-AI-AT-ALL-COSTS, with a doubling down on medieval practices to prevent AI use, it is quite sobering.

To be fair, I also deplore the easy reliance on the tech bro monster. But more surveillance is surely not the solution. I don’t want to be watched while I write!
