You are not looking for the investor who can be convinced. You are looking for the one who already believes what you believe, before you walk in the room. That investor exists. The deck doesn’t create them.
Most founders figure this out around meeting thirty. They’ve rewritten the deck six times, addressed every note, and still have no term sheet. The deck got better but the round didn’t close.
The pitch doesn’t change minds. It finds them. Run the raise like a targeting problem and stop treating every no as a brief.
