This is so cool. It’s a simple story about a traveler to a small town. We read a paragraph in 21st century English. The next graph, goes back a century, and another, and another.

Pretty soon we are navigating the SAME story in what English looked and sounded like centuries ago.

The 19th and 18th century stuff is easy-peasy, if you love your English novel writing. And then, holy cats, it gets weirder and weirder, until by the 14th century version, I can’t read it. But it’s so interesting to look at!
