I’ve watched Haven’s performance at Woodstock dozens of times, and I treasured his original album. He was an “opening act” — a folk music act, not one of the hot rock’n’rollers. But of course he BURNED THE HOUSE DOWN, and Jimi Hendrix and everyone else were like, “Respect the Elder.’
