Fashion people go to the office and dress for it; they also dress for flights and for doctor’s appointments. Fashion people would never be photographed in gym clothes and would never overtly mention comfort as a priority. They see the world differently; it extends beyond what they wear or what they think is sartorially interesting. It influences the way they decorate their homes — regardless of scale — where they vacation and which cultural institutions they engage with. They spend so much time being discerning that they could not bear dining at a restaurant with the wrong lighting.
